If the space is not correct, adjustment is needed:
7. Loosen the 6 carrier frame mounting bolts (3 on the
left, 3 on the right) (Fig. 0198).

5. Hold a ridid straight edge (36” minimum length) on
top of the 2”x2” piece of tubing stock so it reaches
out to the front cross brace of the carrier frame (Fig.
0196).

6. The space between the front cross brace and the
straight edge should be 11/16” + 1/4” (17.46mm +
6.35mm) (Fig. 0197).
4. Place a 2”x2” by 8” (aprox.) long piece of tubing
stock on the engine deck along the right side the
engine (Fig. 0195).
