equivalentsyntheticoil.
Important:Useoilspeciedorequivalent.Other
uidscouldcausesystemdamage.

Note:Therearetwowaysofcheckingthehydraulicoil.
Oneiswhentheoiliswarmandoneiswhentheoilis
cold.Thebafeinsidethetankhastwolevelsdepending
iftheoiliswarmorcold.
1.Positionmachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethepowertakeoff(PTO)andshutoff
theengine.
3.Waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingpositionandthensettheparkingbrake.
4.Cleanareaaroundcapandllerneckofhydraulic
tank(Figure56).

theuidlevelinthereservoir.(Figure56).
6.Adduidtothereservoiruntilitreachesthecold
levelofthebafe.

anyairtopurgeoutofthesystemandwarmuid.
RefertoStartingandStoppingtheEngine.
8.Rechecktheuidlevelwhiletheuidiswarm.If
required,adduidtothereservoiruntilitreaches
thehotlevelofthebafe.
Note:Theuidlevelshouldbetothetopofthehot
levelofthebafe,whentheuidiswarm(Figure56).
9.Installcaponllerneck.
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.
Ifhydraulicuidisinjectedintotheskin
itmustbesurgicallyremovedwithinafew
hoursbyadoctorfamiliarwiththistypeof
injury.Gangrenemayresultifthisisnot
done.
Keepbodyandhandsawayfrompinhole
leaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulic
leaks.
Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulic
systembeforeperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.
Makesureallhydraulicuidhosesand
linesareingoodconditionandallhydraulic
connectionsandttingsaretightbefore
applyingpressuretohydraulicsystem.
ReplacingtheHydraulicFilter
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst8hours
Every200hours
Hothydraulicuidcancausesevereburns.
Allowthehydraulicuidtocoolbefore
performinganymaintenancetothehydraulic
system.
