1. Park the machine on a level surface.

2. Turn the engine off and remove the key.

3. Set the parking brake.

4. Move the negative battery terminal boot and dis-

connect the negative (black) battery cable from the

battery (Fig. 0001).

6. Push the grommet and clutch plug through the frame

to the underside of the machine (Fig. 0003).

5. Unplug the clutch lead from the harness connector

(Fig. 0002).
