Becomefamiliarwiththesafeoperationofthe
equipment,operatorcontrols,andsafetysigns.
Shutofftheengine,removethekey(ifequipped),
andwaitforallmovementtostopbeforeyouleave
theoperatorsposition,Allowthemachinetocool
beforeadjusting,servicing,cleaning,orstoringit.
Knowhowtostopthemachineandshutoffthe
enginequickly.
Checkthatoperator-presencecontrols,safety
switches,andguardsareattachedandfunctioning
properly.Donotoperatethemachineunlessthey
