temperatureisatleast60°F .(16°C)withallcells
gasingfreely.
6.Whenthebatteryischarged,disconnectthecharger
fromtheelectricaloutletandbatteryposts.
Note:Afterthebatteryhasbeenactivated,add
onlydistilledwatertoreplacenormalloss,although
maintenance-freebatteriesshouldnotrequirewater
undernormaloperatingconditions.

7.Installthebatteryintothemachineandsecureit.
Important:Thebatterymustnotbeableto
moveorwigglewhenpushed.
8.First,installthepositivecable(red)tothepositive
(+)terminalandthenthenegativecable(black)to
thenegative(-)terminalofthebattery.Slidethe
rubberbootoverthepositiveterminaltopreventa
possibleshortfromoccurring.
WARNING
Incorrectbatterycableroutingcoulddamage
themachineandcablescausingsparks.Sparks
cancausethebatterygassestoexplode,
resultinginpersonalinjury.
•Alwaysdisconnectthenegative(black)
batterycablebeforedisconnectingthe
positive(red)cable.
•Alwaysconnectthepositive(red)battery
cablebeforeconnectingthenegative(black)
