RemovingtheLiftControlValve(continued)
CAUTION
Beforeopeningthehydraulicsystem,operateallthehydraulic
controlstoreleasesystempressureandavoidinjuryfromthe
pressurizedhydraulicuid;refertoReleasingPressurefromthe
HydraulicSystem(page5–6).
WARNING
Ensurethatthecuttingdeckisfullyloweredandsupportedbefore
looseningthehydrauliclines,cartridgevalves,orplugsfromthelift
controlvalve.
Ifthedeckisnotfullyloweredwhentheliftcontrolvalvecomponents
areloosened,thedeckmaydropunexpectedly.
7.Disconnectthehydraulichosesandtubesfromthettingsintheliftcontrol
valve.Allowthelinestodrainintoasuitablecontainer.Removeanddiscard
theO-ringsfromthettings.
8.Installcleancapsorplugsonthehydrauliclinesandttingstoprevent
contamination.
9.Disconnectthewireharnessleadsfromthesolenoidcoilsontheliftcontrol
valve.
10.Removethe2bolts(item6inFigure108),2lockwashers,and2atwashers
thatsecuretheliftcontrolvalvetothemachineframe.
11.Removetheliftcontrolvalvefromthemachine.
