Important:Alwaysusetheseatbeltwhentheroll
barisintheraisedandlockedposition.Donot
usetheseatbeltwhentheROPSisinthelowered
position.
Starting/StoppingtheEngine
Important:Thefuelsystemmustbebledifanyof
thefollowingsituationshaveoccurred:theinitial
startupofanewmachine,theenginehasceased
runningduetolackoffuel,ormaintenancehas
beenperformeduponfuelsystemcomponents
(i.e.,lterreplaced,separatorserviced,etc).
1.RaisetheROPSupandlockintoplace,sitonthe
seatandfastentheseatbelt.
2.EnsurethattheparkingbrakeissetandthePTO
switchisintheOffposition.Removeyourfoot
fromtractionpedalandensurethatitisinneutral
3.MovethethrottlecontroltotheFastposition.
4.TurntheignitionswitchtotheOn/Preheatposition.
Anautomatictimerwillcontrolpreheatfor6
seconds.
5.Afterpreheating,turnthekeytotheStart
position.Cranktheenginefornolongerthan15
seconds.Releasethekeywhentheenginestarts.If
additionalpreheatingisrequired,turnthekeyto
theOffposition,thentotheOn/Preheatposition.
Repeatthisprocessasrequired.
6.Runtheengineatidlespeedorpartialthrottleuntil
itwarmsup.
Note:MovethethrottletotheFastpositionwhen
restartingawarmengine.
Important:Whenengineisstartedfortherst
time,orafteranengineoilchange,oroverhaul
oftheengine,transmission,oraxle,operatethe
machineinforwardandreverseforonetotwo
minutes.AlsooperatetheliftleverandPTO
levertoensureproperoperationofallparts.
Turnthepowersteeringwheeltotheleftand
righttocheckthesteeringresponse.Thenshut
theengineoffandcheckuidlevels,checkfor
oilleaks,looseparts,andanyothernoticeable
malfunctions.
Shutengineoffandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stopbeforecheckingforoilleaks,looseparts
orothermalfunctions.
7.Tostopengine,movethethrottlecontrolbackward
totheSlowposition,movethePTOswitchtothe
OffpositionandrotateignitionkeytoOff.Remove
keyfromtheswitchtopreventaccidentalstarting.
BleedingtheFuelSystem
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.Ensurethatthe
fueltankisatleasthalffull.
2.Unlatchandraisethehood.
