1.Withthemachineonjackstands,placethespeed
controlleverintheneutralposition.
2.HoldtheOPCleversdown.
Note:TheOPCleversmustbehelddown
wheneverthespeedcontrolleverisoutoftheneutral
positionortheenginewillkill.
3.Adjusttheleftandrightneutralstuduntiltheclevis
pinintheyoketouchesthebackendoftheslotin
thecontrolarm(Figure51).
4.Movethespeedcontrollevertothefullforward
position.
5.Squeezeonedriveleveruntilanincreasedresistance
isfelt.Thisisneutralposition.Thisiswherethe
clevispinintheyokecomestothebackendofthe
slotinthecontrolarmbracket.
Note:Makesureyouhavenotreachedtheendof
theneutrallockslot.Ifyouhave,shortenthecontrol
leverlinkage.RefertoAdjustingtheControlRod.
6.Ifthewheelturnswhileholdingthedrivelever
inneutral,theneutralstudneedstobeadjusted
(Figure51).Ifwheelstopsthengoto12.@@@5.
7.Loosenthenutagainsttheyoke(Figure51).
8.Adjusttheadjustmentstuduntiltherespectivedrive
wheelstopswhileholdingthedriveintheneutral
position(increasedresistance)(Figure51).
9.Turntheadjustingboltapproximately1/4turn
clockwiseifthewheelisturninginreverseorturn
theboltapproximately1/4turncounter-clockwiseif
thewheelisturningforward(Figure51).
10.Releasethedrivelevertotheforwarddriveposition
andsqueezebackintotheneutralposition.Check
toseeifthewheelstops.Ifnot,repeattheabove
adjustmentprocedure.
11.Afteradjustmentsaremade,tightenthenutsagainst
theyokes.
12.Repeatthisprocedurefortheoppositeside.
