systembeforeperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.
•Makesureallhydraulicuidhosesand
linesareingoodconditionandallhydraulic
connectionsandttingsaretightbefore
applyingpressuretohydraulicsystem.

Hothydraulicuidcancausesevereburns.
Allowthehydraulicuidtocoolbefore
performinganymaintenancetothehydraulic
system.
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
Important:Donotsubstituteautomotiveoil
lterorseverehydraulicsystemdamagemay
result.
3.Removehydraulicreservoircapandtemporarily
coveropeningwithaplasticbagandrubberbandto
preventallhydrouidfromdrainingout.
4.Locatethelterunderthefueltankandplacedrain
panunderlter(Figure69).

6.Applyathincoathydrouidtotherubbergasket
onthereplacementlter.
7.Installreplacementhydrauliclterontothelter
adapter.Donottighten.

allowltertollwithhydraulicuid.
9.Whenthehydrauliclterisfull,turntheoillter
clockwiseuntiltherubbergasketcontactsthelter
adapter,thentightenthelteranadditional1/2turn
