Whiletestingthesafetyinterlocksystem,the
machinemaymoveforwardandcausepersonal
injuryorpropertydamage.
•Performthesafetyinterlocktestinanopen
area.
•Ensurenooneisstandinginfrontof
themachinewhileperformingthesafety
interlocktest.
1.Settheneutrallocksandplacespeedcontrollever
inneutral.Starttheengine;refertoStartingand
StoppingtheEngine.
2.WithoutholdingtheOperatorPresenceControl
(OPC)levers,pullthebladecontrolknob(PTO)up.
Theengineshouldkill.
3.Withenginerunning,holddowntheOPClevers.
Pullthebladecontrolswitch(PTO)up.Thedrive
beltshouldengageandthemowerbladesbegin
rotating.
4.ReleasetheOPClevers.Theengineshouldkill.
5.Withtheenginerunning,movethespeedcontrol
leverforward.ReleasetheOPClevers.Theengine
shouldkill.
6.Withtheenginerunning,settheparkingbrakeand
holddowntheOPClevers.Movethespeedcontrol
leverforward.Theengineshouldkill.
7.Ifalltheaboveconditionsarenotmethavean
AuthorizedServiceDealerrepairthesafetysystem
immediately.
DrivingtheMachineForward
andBackward
Thethrottlecontrolregulatestheenginespeedas
measuredinRPM(revolutionsperminute).Place
thethrottlecontrolinthefastpositionforbest
performance.
Theforwardspeedofthemachinecanbeincreased
ordecreasedbymovingthespeedcontrolleverwhile
themachineisinmotion.
DrivingForward
1.Releasetheparkingbrake.
2.Togoforward,movethespeedcontrolleverto
desiredspeed.
3.Releasetheneutrallock.RefertoReleasingthe
NeutralLock.
4.Slowlyreleasethedriveleverstomoveforward
(Figure10).
Togostraight,releasedriveleversequally
(Figure10).
Toturn,squeezethedriveleveronthesideand
directionyouwanttoturn(Figure10).

3.Stoptheenginebyturningtheignitionkeytooff.
4.Waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.Settheparkingbrake.
