Starter Motor Troubleshooting Guide
TROUBLESHOOTING 8-7
1. Disconnect spark plug cap, and ground the cap
terminal.
2. Turn engine switch to “START” position and check
condition.
Engine may be cranked in this
test. Do not touch any
rotating parts of engine and equipment during test.
disconnect negative (-) lead from battery as soon as
[STARTER DOES NOT ROTATE]
