1.Movethethrottlelevertotheslowposition
(Figure8).
2.Letengineidlefor30to60secondsbeforeturning
theignitionkeytooff.

OperatingtheMowerPower
TakeOff(PTO)
Thepowertakeoffswitch(PTO)inconjunctionwith
thebladecontrolbailengagesanddisengagespowerto
theelectricclutchandmowerblades.
EngagingtheMowerBlades(PTO)
1.Releasetheuppercontrolbartostopthemachine
(Figure9).
2.Toengagetheblades,squeezebladecontrolbail
againsttheuppercontrolbar(Figure9).
3.Pullthepowertakeoffswitch(PTO)upand
release.Holdthebladecontrolbailagainstthe
uppercontrolbarwhileoperating.
4.Repeattheproceduretoengagethemowerbladesif
thebladecontrolbailisreleased.

mowerbladesfromrotatingunless:
