Lower Control Replacement (T-Bar)

Lower Control Removal

3. Remove the washer from the lower end of the con-

trol rod (Fig. 0355).

4. Remove the trunnion/clevis from the idler arm (Fig.

0356).

The following procedures are the same for both the right

hand and left hand lower control replacement.

1. Turn the engine off and remove the key from the

ignition.

2. Remove the hairpin cotter from the lower end of the

control rod (Fig. 0354).
