Oneiswhentheoiliswarmandoneiswhentheoiliscold.
Thebafeinsidethetankhastwolevelsdependingiftheoil
iswarmorcold.
1.Positionmachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethepowertakeoff(PTO)andshutoffthe
engine.
3.Waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingpositionandthensettheparkingbrake.
4.Cleanareaaroundcapandllerneckofhydraulictank
(
Figure50).

airtopurgeoutofthesystemandwarmuid.Referto
StartingandStoppingtheEngine.
8.Rechecktheuidlevelwhiletheuidiswarm.If
required,adduidtothereservoiruntilitreachesthe
hotlevelofthebafe.
Note:Whentheuidiswarm,theuidlevelisatthe
topofthehotlevelofthebafe(
Figure50).
9.Installcaponllerneck.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.
•Ifhydraulicuidisinjectedintotheskinit
mustbesurgicallyremovedwithinafew
hoursbyadoctorfamiliarwiththistype
ofinjury.Gangrenemayresultifthisis
notdone.
•Keepbodyandhandsawayfrompinhole
leaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
•Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulic
leaks.
•Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulic
systembeforeperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.
•Makesureallhydraulicuidhosesand
linesareingoodconditionandallhydraulic
connectionsandttingsaretightbefore
applyingpressuretohydraulicsystem.
ReplacingtheHydraulicOilFilter
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst8hours
Every200hours
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
Important:Donotsubstituteautomotiveoillter
orseverehydraulicsystemdamagemayresult.
3.Removehydraulicreservoircapandtemporarilycover
openingwithaplasticbagandrubberbandtoprevent
allhydrouidfromdrainingout.
4.Locatelterunderenginebaseandplacedrainpan
underlter(Figure51).
5.Removetheoldlterandwipethelteradaptergasket
surfaceclean(Figure51).
