1.Checkthealignmentoftheboomandrecordyour
measurementsintheAlignmentWorksheetbelow:
•Left-offsetboom:iftheboomisalignedtothe
leftofthesprocketcenterline,placeastraight
edgeacrosstherightfaceofthedrivesprocket
andmeasurethegap(dimensionA)betweenthe
straightedgeandtheendroller(Figure36and
Figure37).
•Right-offsetboom:iftheboomisalignedtothe
rightofthesprocketcenterline,placeastraight
edgeacrosstheleftfaceofthedrivesprocket
andmeasurethegap(dimensionA)betweenthe
straightedgeandtheendroller(Figure36and
Figure37).
•Nooffset:theboomisaligned(Figure37).
