Besurethatyouunderstandthesafetyrulesandlawsforthe
areainwhichyouareusingthemachine.Ensurethatboth
thetruckandthemachineareequippedwiththeproper
safetyequipment.
LoadingtheMachineontoaTrailer
1.Ensurethatthemachineislevelandthatthetilt-lockout
pinisinstalled;refertoTiltingtheMachine(page39)
andInstallingtheTilt-lockoutPin(page39).
2.Ensurethatthetrailerandtherampcansupportboth
yourweightandtheweightofthemachine;referto
Specications(page22).
3.AlwayshavetheattachmentsintheTransportposition
whenyouareloadingorunloadingthemachine.
4.Blockthefrontandrearwheelsofthetrailer.
5.Slowlyandcarefullymovethemachineontothetrailer.
6.Lowertheattachmentstothetrailer.
7.Engagetheparkingbrake.
8.Stoptheengineandremovethekey.
9.Fastenthefrontandrearofthemachinetothetrailer
usingchainsandabinder(Figure58).

position.
5.Slowlymovethemachineoffthetrailer.
LiftingtheMachinewithaSpreaderBar
1.Attachacraneliftcabletothesingle-liftpointofa
spreaderbar.
2.Attach2oftheliftcablesononeendofthespreader
bartotheliftpointsattherearofthemachineframe.
3.Attachtheremaining2spreaderbarliftcablestothe
liftpointsatthefrontofthemachineframe.
4.Carefullyandslowlyliftthemachine,andloweritto
thedesiredlocation.
MovingaNon-functioningMachine
Repairanon-functioningmachineonthejobsite,ifpossible.
Otherwise,youmustliftthemachinewithaspreaderbarand
transportthemachinetoarepairfacility.
