Note:Donotremovethehoseclampsfromthehoses.
Note:Discardthefuellter.
4.Alignthenewprimaryfuelltertothehoseswiththe
arrowprintedonthelterpointingforward(Figure56).
5.Slipthehosesoverthehosettingoftheprimaryfuel
lter,andtightenthehoseclamps(Figure56).
6.Bleedthefuelsystem;refertoBleedingtheFuelSystem
(page46).
7.Starttheengineandcheckforleaksatthefuellter.
8.Installtheleftsidepanel;refertoInstallingtheSide
Panels(page38).

ofthefollowing:
•Drainthefuel-waterseparator
•Replacethefuellter
•Runtheengineuntilthefueltankisempty
1.Ensurethatboththeengineandtheexhaustsystem
arecool.
2.Ensurethatthefueltankis1/4full.
3.Rotatethebattery-disconnectswitchclockwisetothe
Onposition.
4.Locatetheprimingbuttononthetopofthelter
adapterforthesecondaryfuellter(Figure57).
