1.Alignthebeltbetween2ofthefanblades,andcarefully
pushthebeltforwardanddownuntilitisinfrontof
thefan(Figure88).
2.Moveafanbladetothe4o’clockposition.
3.Alignthebeltbetweenthetipofthefanbladeandthe
openingintheshroud(Figure87).
4.Movethebeltrearwardandpastthetipofthefanblade.
5.Repeatsteps2through4fortheremainingfanblades.
6.Alignthebeltinthegroovesofthealternator,thefan,
andthecrankshaftpulleys.
7.Rotatethefanguardclockwisearoundthedriveshaft
ofthefanuntiltheopeningintheguardisatthe6
o’clockposition(Figure85).
8.Securethefanguardtothefanshroud(Figure85).
9.Adjustthetensionofthebelt;refertoAdjustingthe
TensionoftheBelt(page58).

thepulleys.
