•EngineStop—Turnthekeytothispositiontothe
stoptheengine,de-energizetheelectricalsystem,andto
removethekey.
•EngineRun—Turnthekeytothispositiontoenergize
theelectricalsystem.Thekeyreturnstothisposition
afteryoureleasethekeyfromtheStartposition.
•EngineStart—Turnthekeytothispositiontostartthe
engine.
ThrottleKnob
Usethethrottleknob(Figure11)tochangetheenginespeed
asfollows:

•Pushthebuttonatthecenteroftheknobwhilepulling
theknobuptoincreasetheenginespeed.

•Rotatetheknobcounterclockwisetomakeasmall
increaseintheenginespeed.
•Rotatetheknobclockwisetomakeasmalldecrease
intheenginespeed.
ThrottleLock
Usethethrottlelock(Figure11)asfollowstoholdthethrottle
inpositionwhileyouareoperatingthemachine:
•Rotatethethrottlelockclockwisetolockthethrottlein
position.
•Rotatethelockcounterclockwisetoreleasethethrottle.
•Tightenthelocktopreventmoisturefromenteringthe
cableandtopreventthecablefromfreezingincold
weather.

Usethe12-voltelectricalsocket(Figure11)topowerpersonal
electronicequipment,suchasacellphone,aradio,oraGPS
device.
