listoffuelrelatedprecautions.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,andlowerthehydrauliclift.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Removethebottomshieldtoaccessthe
fuel-shutoffvalve;refertoRemovingtheBottom
Shield(page22).
Note:Thefuel-shutoffvalveisalsoaccessible
throughtheframe,behindthebattery(Figure
40).

comesrst)(moreoftenindirtyor
dustyconditions).
Neverinstalladirtylterifitisremovedfromthefuel
line.
Note:Notehowthefuellterisinstalledinorderto
installthenewltercorrectly.
Note:Wipeupanyspilledfuel.
