•Neveroperatewiththedischargedeectorraised,
removedoraltered,unlessusingagrasscatcher.
•Donotchangetheenginegovernorsettingor
overspeedtheengine.
•Stoponlevelgroundandshutoffenginebefore
leavingtheoperator’spositionforanyreason
includingemptyingthecatchersoruncloggingthe
chute.
•Stopequipmentandinspectbladesafterstriking
objectsorifanabnormalvibrationoccurs.Make
necessaryrepairsbeforeresumingoperations.
•Keephandsandfeetawayfromthecuttingunits.
•Lookbehindanddownbeforebackinguptobesure
ofaclearpath.
•Beawareofthemowerdischargedirectionanddo
notpointitatanyone.
•Donotoperatethemowerundertheinuenceof
alcoholordrugs.
•Usecarewhenloadingorunloadingthemachine
intoatrailerortruck.
•Usecarewhenapproachingblindcorners,shrubs,
trees,orotherobjectsthatmayobscurevision.
MaintenanceandStorage
•Waitforallmovementtostopbeforeadjusting,
cleaningorrepairing.
•Cleangrassanddebrisfromcuttingunit,mufer,
andenginetohelppreventres.Cleanupoilorfuel
spillage.
•Letenginecoolbeforestoringanddonotstorenear
ame.
•Donotstorefuelnearamesordrainindoors.
•Neverallowuntrainedpersonneltoservicemachine.
•Usecarewhencheckingblade.Wrapthebladeor
weargloves,andusecautionwhenservicing.Only
replaceblade.Neverstraightenorweldthem.
•Keephandsandfeetawayfrommovingparts.If
possible,donotmakeadjustmentswiththeengine
running.
•Keepallpartsingoodworkingconditionandall
hardwaretightened.Replaceallwornordamaged
decals.
