Usethereardischargeforcuttingverytallgrass.
Note:Ifthegrassbagisonthemachine,remove
itbeforerear-dischargingtheclippings;refer
toRemovingtheGrassBag(page15).The
bag-on-demandlevershouldbeintheBAGGING
positionasshowninFigure15.
WARNING
Thebladeissharp;contactingthebladecan
resultinseriouspersonalinjury.
Shutofftheengineandwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
AdjustingtheBladeSpeed
Thismachinehas2blade-speedsettings:AUTOand
MAX.
WhensettotheAUTOposition,thebladespeed
isadjustedautomaticallyforgreaterefciency;
changesincuttingconditionsaredetectedand
thebladespeedincreaseswhennecessaryto
maintainqualityofcut.
WhensettotheMAXposition,thebladespeed
remainsatthehighestspeedatalltimes.
Turnthekeyinthekeyswitchtoeitherpositionto
adjustthebladespeedsetting(Figure17).
