before clearing a blockage;
before checking, cleaning or working on the
lawnmower;
after striking a foreign object. Inspect the
lawnmower for damage and make repairs if
necessary;
if lawnmower starts to vibrate abnormally
(check immediately).
Maintenance and Storage
1. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure
the equipment is in safe working condition.
2. To reduce the fire hazard, keep the motor free of
grass or leaves.
3. Check the grass catcher frequently for wear or
deterioration.
4. Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
5. If the supply cord of this lawnmower is
damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord
or assembly available from an Authorized Toro
Service Dealer.
6. Ensure that only replacement cutting means of
the right type are used.
Sound Pressure Level
This unit has an equivalent continuous A-weighted
sound pressure at the operator ear of: 81 dB(A), based
on measurements of identical machines per ANSI
B71.5-1984 procedures.
Sound Power Level
This unit has a sound power level of: 96 dB(A)/1 pW,
based on measurements of identical machines per
Directive 84/538/EEC and amendments.
Vibration Level
This unit has a maximum hand-arm vibration level of
4 m/s, based on measurement of identical machines
per ISO 5349 procedures.
