ShuttingOfftheEngine
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Ensure
thattheengineshutsoffwithin
3secondsafterreleasingthe
blade-controlbar.
Toshutofftheengine,releasetheblade-controlbar.
Note:Removetheelectric-startbutton(ifequipped)
wheneveryouleavethemachine.
Important:Whenyoureleasetheblade-control
bar,theengineshouldshutoffandtheblade
shouldstopwithin3seconds.Iftheydonot,stop
usingyourmachineimmediatelyandcontactan

RecyclingtheClippings
Yourmachinecomesfromthefactoryreadytorecycle
thegrassandleafclippingsbackintothelawn.
Ifthegrassbagisonthemachineandthe
bag-on-demandleverisinthebaggingposition,
movethelevertotherecyclingposition;referto
OperatingtheBag-on-DemandLever(page16).If
theside-dischargechuteisonthemachine,remove
it;refertoRemovingtheSide-DischargeChute(page
17).
