•Changetheengineoil.

Beforeeachuseordaily

•Checktheengineoillevel.

•Ensurethattheenginestopswithin3secondsafterreleasingthebladecontrolbar.

•Cleangrassclippingsanddirtfromunderthemower.

Every100hours

•Checkthesparkplugandreplaceitifnecessary.

Beforestorage

•Emptythefueltankbeforerepairsasdirectedandbeforeannualstorage.

•Cleanthecoolingsystem;removegrassclippings,debris,ordirtfromtheengine

aircoolingnsandstarter.Cleanthesystemmorefrequentlyindirtyorhigh-chaff

conditions.

Yearly

•Replacetheairlter;replaceitmorefrequentlyindustyoperatingconditions.

•Changetheengineoil.

•Replacethebladeorhaveitsharpened(morefrequentlyiftheedgedullsquickly).

PreparingforMaintenance

1.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.

2.Disconnectthesparkplugwirefromthesparkplug

(Figure18)beforeperforminganymaintenance

procedure.
