1.Movethemachinetoalevelsurface.
2.Removethedipstick(
Figure11).

correct.Todraintheexcessoil,referto
ChangingtheEngineOil(page18).
Important:Iftheoillevelinthecrankcaseis
toolowortoohighandyouruntheengine,
youmaydamagetheengine.
6.Installthedipsticksecurely.
AdjustingtheCuttingHeight
WARNING
Adjustingthecuttingheightmaybringyouinto
contactwiththemovingblade,causingserious
injury.
•Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingparts
tostop.
•Donotputyourngersunderthehousingwhen
adjustingthecuttingheight.
CAUTION
Iftheenginehasbeenrunning,themuferwillbe
hotandcanseverelyburnyou.Keepawayfromthe
hotmufer.
Adjustthecuttingheightasdesired.Setallfourwheelsto
thesameheight.
Note:Toraisethemachine,moveall4cuttingheightlevers
forward;tolowerthemachine,movethemallrearward
(Figure12).
