Chargethebatteryfor24hoursinitially,thenmonthly
(every25starts)orasneeded.Alwaysusethecharger
inashelteredareaandchargethebatteryatroom
temperature(70°or22°C)wheneverpossible.

chargedorthechargerisdisconnectedfromthe
battery.
•Aashinglightthatalternatesbetweenredandgreen
indicatesthatthebatteryisnearlyfullycharged.This
statelastsonlyafewminutesuntilthebatteryisfully
charged.
ReplacingtheFuse
Electric-startmodelsonly
Ifthebatterydoesnotchargeortheenginedoesnotrun
withtheelectricstarter,thefusemaybeblown.Replace
itwitha40-ampplug-intypefuse.
