Charging (battery powered models)
Standard with all battery powered models is an
automatic char
g
er. This char
g
er will periodically check
the char
g
e status of the batteries and char
g
e them as
needed. When the batteries are fully char
g
ed, the
char
g
er turns off. This char
g
er also has the ability to
sense when the batteries are too hot or too cold to be
char
g
ed. In that situation, char
g
in
g
is suspended until
the temperature returns to a normal ran
g
e.
It takes approximately 12-16 hours to char
g
e a fully
dischar
g
ed battery. Char
g
e the battery after every
use. If the battery is not rechar
g
ed after every use,
the battery life will be shortened. Rechar
g
e even if
mower is only run for a few minutes. This battery
does not have a "memory."
Note: The battery is charged at the factory. However,
before usin
g
mower the first time, it is necessary to
rechar
g
e battery and ensure it has a full char
g
e before
operatin
g
.
