9. Loosely secure the air cleaner/mounting band and
R–clamp w/radiator hose to the mounting bracket with
(2) capscrews and nuts (Fig. 3).
10. Using the dimensions shown in figure 4, measure and
cut the air cleaner hose to the required length for either
gas or diesel engines.
20.75” (52.70 cm) for diesel engines
22.50” (57.15 cm) for gas engines

11. Mount the air cleaner hose to the air cleaner and
engine with (2) hose clamps (Fig. 5).

12. Mount new inlet hose and existing inlet hood to air
cleaner body with (2) clamps (Fig. 3).
Note: The air cleaner mounting band (Fig. 5) can be
loosened and adjusted to ease the connection of the new
inlet hose.
13. Make sure all hoses are fully engaged and clamps are
tight. Also, tighten all fasteners securing remaining
components.
