•Parkthemachineonalevelsurface;engagethe
parkingbrake;shutofftheengine;removethekey;
andwaitforallmovementtostopbeforeleaving
themachine.
•Storethemachineonthestoragestands
positionedonarm,levelsurfacesothatitdoes
notsinkortipover.
•Donotallowchildrentoplayonoraroundthe
storedmachine.
StoringtheMachine
Attheendofanaeratingseasonorwhenstoringthe
aeratorforalongperiod,dothefollowingpreventative
maintenancesteps:
1.Cleanoffanydirtorgreasethatmayhave
accumulatedonthemachineoranyofthe
movingparts.
2.Removeandcleanoutthetines.Coatthetines
andtinefastenerswithoiltopreventrusting
duringstorage.
3.Openthehoodandcleanouttheinsideofthe
machine.
4.Lubricateallgreasettingsandtinefastener
screwthreads.
5.Storethemachineontheprovidedstorage
standsonahard,drysurface.
6.LoosenthePTOclutchbolts2turns.
7.ConnectthePTOsafetychaintotheaeratorin
thestoredpositiontopreventdamageorremove
thePTOandstoreitunderthehoodtominimize
corrosion.
8.Painttherollerandtouchupanyotherscratches
onthepaintedsurfaces.
9.Replaceanymissingordamageddecals.
10.Storetheaeratorinsideadry,securebuilding.
Insidestoragewillreducemaintenance,givea
longerworkinglife,andincreasetheresidual
valueofthemachine.Ifinsidestorageisnot
available,coverthemachinewithaheavysheet
ortarpaulinandsecuretightly.
