5.Aftersettingtheairgapat.040in.,installthespark
plugsinthecylinderhead.Tightentheplugsto
18-22ft.-lb.(24-30NVm).Pushthewiresontothe
sparkplugs.
6.Lowerthehoodandsecurethelatches.
ChangingtheGearCaseOil
andFilter
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst25hours
Every200hours
Changethehydraulicoilandlterinitiallyafter25hours
ofoperation;thereafterchangethemevery200hours
ofoperation.
Important:Thegearcaseoilandltermustbe
changedimmediatelywhenanycontamination,
sludge,waterorcondensationappears.
1.Disengagethehoodlatchesandopenthehood.
2.Placeadrainpanunderthebottomofthegearcase.
Cleantheareaaroundthedrainplug(Figure29).
Note:Whendrainingtheoil,useafunnelorsome
typeofchanneltodivertthedrainingoilawayfrom
themachinecomponentsandintoadrainpan.

3.Removethedrainplugandallowtheoiltoowinto
adrainpan.Aftertheoilhasdrained,installtheoil
drainplug.
4.Removetheoillter(Figure30),mountedbelow
controlpanelbase,anddiscardthelter.Thoroughly
cleantheltermountingsurfaceandmakesurethat
anewgasketisinstalledinthenewlter.
