AdjustingtheLiftLever
Adjustthedetentplateoftheliftlever(Figure37)ifthe
attachmentdoesnotoatproperly(followgroundcontour)
duringoperation.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutofftheengine,
engagetheparkingbrake,andblockthewheels.
2.Removethe4screwssecuringthecontrolpaneltothe
frame(Figure36).

andotherhotsurfaces.
4.Starttheengine.
5.WiththeenginerunningandtheliftleverintheFLOAT
position,slidethedetentplateuntiltheliftcylindercan
beextendedandretractedbyhand.
6.Tightenbothmountingscrewstosecurethe
adjustment.

Properthrottleoperationisdependentuponproper
adjustmentofthethrottlecontrol.Beforeadjustingthe
carburetor,ensurethatthethrottlecontrolisoperating
properly.
1.Pivottheseatupward.
2.Loosenthethrottlecable-clampscrewsecuringthe
cabletotheengine(Figure38).
