Every400hours
Thehydraulicsystemltermustbechangedinitiallyafterthe
rst8hoursofoperation,andthereafterevery400hoursof
operationoryearly,whicheveroccursrst.Useagenuine
Torooillterforreplacement.Thehydraulicoilmustbe
changedevery400hoursofoperationoryearly,whichever
occursrst.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandturntheengine
off.
2.Loosenthe2screwssecuringthecentershroudtothe
machineandremovetheshroud(Figure39).

3.Placeadrainpanunderthehydraulicoillterwhichis
locatedontheleftsideofthemachine(Figure40).

4.Cleantheareaaroundtheltermountingarea.Place
adrainpanunderlter.Slowlyloosen,butdonot
remove,thehydrauliclteruntiloilowspastthe
gasketanddripsdownthesideofthelter.
Note:Ifthemachineisequippedwitharemote
hydraulicskit,thesuctionhosecanberemovedfrom
thepumptodrainthehydraulicoil.
5.Removethelterwhentheoilowslows.
6.Lubricatethesealinggasketonreplacementlterwith
hydraulicuidandhandturnitonuntilthegasket
contactslterhead.Thentighten3/4turnfurther.
Filtershouldnowbesealed.
7.Fillhydraulictankwithhydraulicoiluntillevelisupto
theneckeddownareaofthedipstick.Donotoverll.
RefertoCheckingtheHydraulicSystem.
8.Startandruntheengine.Operatetheliftcylinderuntil
itextendsandretractsandforwardandreversewheel
motionisachieved.
9.Stoptheengineandchecktheoillevelinreservoir,add
oilifnecessary.
10.Checkallconnectionsforleaks.
11.Installthecentershroud.
12.Disposeofoilproperly.
CheckingtheHydraulicLines
andHoses
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Checkthehydrauliclinesandhosesdailyforleaks,kinked
lines,loosemountingsupports,wear,loosettings,weather
deterioration,andchemicaldeterioration.Makeallnecessary
repairsbeforeoperating.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.
Makesureallhydraulicuidhosesandlinesare
ingoodconditionandallhydraulicconnections
andttingsaretightbeforeapplyingpressureto
thehydraulicsystem.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompin
holeleaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks.
Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulicsystem
beforeperforminganyworkonthehydraulic
system.
Seekimmediatemedicalattentionifuidis
injectedintoskin.
