TheOutcross9060usesasingle12Voltmaintenancefreebatterymounted
belowtheleftsideoftheoperator’splatform.Thebatteryischargedbyan80
Amp12voltalternatormountedtotheengine,whichisdrivenbyasinglerow
V-belt.
UsetheT2:TDMdisplaytomonitorthe12Voltelectricalsystem.Itwilltellyouif
thechargingsystemhasanoutput,butnotitscapacity.
1.Checktomakesureeachalternatordrivebeltisnotloose,wornordamaged.
2.TurnthekeyswitchtotheONpositionandsettheT2:TDMdisplaytoview
thevoltmeter.
3.Recordtheinitialsystemvoltage.
4.Starttheengineandwarmtheenginetonormaloperatingtemperature.
5.SettheengineRPMto2300RPM.
6.Turnonalladditionalsystemloads(e.g.lights,blower).
7.Thesystemvoltageshouldbeatleast0.5volthigherthentheinitialvoltage
recordedinstep3.
8.Ifthechargingsystemperformanceislessthandesired,refertotheYanmar
ServiceManualorTroubleshootingManualforadditionalinformation.
CheckingtheOperationoftheInterlockSwitches
CAUTION
Donotdisconnectsafetyswitches.Theyarefortheoperators
protection.Checktheoperationoftheinterlockswitchesdailyfor
properoperation.Replaceanymalfunctioningswitchesbefore
operatingthemachine.
YourOutcross9060isequippedwithaprimary(T1:TEC)anda(T2:TDM)which
monitorinterlockswitchoperation.Ifalloftheinterlockswitchesnecessaryto
allowaspecicmachineoperationarenotintheirdesiredposition,themachine
alarmwillsoundandanOperatorsAdvisorymayappearontheInfoCenter
Display;refertoOperatorAdvisories(page3–3).
