RemovingandInstallingtheHydraulicTank
1.Removetheoperator’splatform;refertoRemovingtheOperator’sPlatform
(page8–6).
IMPORTANT
Followalllocalcodesandregulationswhenrecyclingordisposing
hydraulicuid.
2.Emptythehydraulictank(approximatetotalvolume48L(12.8gal)).
3.Thoroughlycleantheexteriorofthereservoir,ttingsandhosestoprevent
contaminationofthehydraulicsystem.
4.Toeaseassembly,labelallthehydraulichosestoidentifytheircorrect
positiononthetank.
5.Disconnectthehydraulichoses.Installcapsandplugsonthettingsand
hosestopreventcontaminationofthehydraulicsystem.
6.Removethe4capscrewsandangenutsandremovethehydraulictank
fromthemachine.
7.RemovethehydraulicttingsasnecessaryanddiscardO-rings.
8.Toinstallthehydraulictank,followthisprocedureinreverseorder.
9.LubricatenewO-ringsandplacethemontothettings.Ifpreviously
removed,installthettingsintothetankportsusingalignmentmarksmade
duringremoval;refertoInstallingtheHydraulicFittings(SAEStraightThread
O-RingFittings)(page5–10).
10.Connectallhydraulichosespreviouslyremoved.Tightenthehydraulichoses
asspeciedinInstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes(O-RingFaceSeal)
(page5–8).
11.Fillthetankwithnewhydraulicuidandcheckforleaksbeforereturning
themachinetoservice.
