IMPORTANT
Wheninstallingtheengineensurethatyoudonotdamagethe
engine,fuelhoses,hydrauliclines,electricalharnessesorother
parts.
4.Carefullylowertheengineintothemachinewhilealigningthehydraulic
pumpdrivecoupler.
5.Installthecapscrews,snubbingwashersandlocknutssecuringtheengine
mountstotheenginebrackets.
6.RemovethepumpsupportandsecurethehydraulicpumptothefrontPTO
gearbox.Tightenthepumpmountingscrewsfrom153to188N∙m(113
to139ft-lb).
7.SecurethePTOdriveshafttothefronthub.
8.Installtheoperator’splatform;refertoInstallingtheOperator’sPlatform
(page8–13).
9.Connectthebatterypositivecableatthestartersolenoid,andconnectthe
enginegroundcableneartheleftrearenginemount.
10.Installtheexhaustpipe;refertoExhaustSystem(page4–10).
11.Installtheradiator;refertoInstallingtheRadiatorandHydraulicFluidCooler
(page4–12)
12.Connectthefuelsupplyandreturnhosestotheengineandsecurethefuel
hoseswithhoseclamps;refertoFuelSystem(page4–14).
13.Installtheaircleanerassembly;refertoRemovingandInstallingtheAir
CleanerSystem(page4–8).
Note:Newradiatordrainplugsarepre-coatedwiththreadsealant.Cleanthe
threadsandapplythreadsealantifinstallingauseddrainplug.
14.Ensuretheradiatordrainplugisinstalledandlltheradiatorandreservoir
withcoolant;refertothetractionunitOperator’sManual.
15.Connectthebatterycables;refertoInstallingtheBattery(page6–81).
16.Ensurethatallthewires,fuellines,hydraulichoses,andcablesareclearof
movingpartsandsecuredtotheiroriginallocations.
17.Checktheengine-oillevelandadjustasnecessary.
18.Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthehydraulicreservoirandaddcorrectif
necessary;refertothetractionunitOperator’sManual.
19.Primethefuelsystem;refertoPrimingtheFuelSystem(page4–15).
20.Starttheengineandoperatethehydrauliccontrolstoproperlyllthe
hydraulicsystem;refertoChargingtheHydraulicSystem(page5–59).
21.Checkandadjusttheenginecoolantlevel;refertothetractionunitOperator’s
Manual.
