MachinefaultsaregeneratedbytheT oroElectronicController(TEC)toidentify
anelectricalsystemmalfunction(fault)thatoccursduringmachineoperation.
EnginefaultsaregeneratedbythebytheYanmarengineElectronicControl
Unit(ECU)toidentifyanelectricalsystemmalfunction(fault)pertainingtothe
engineduringoperation.ThefaultIDsconformtoSAEJ2012standards.When
afaultoccurs,anaudiblealarmwillsound,aredwarninglightwillilluminate,and
acodefortheactivefaultwillappearalongthebottomofthestatusdisplay.If
morethanonefaultisactive,theircodeswillscrollacrossthebottomofthe
statusdisplayone-by-one.Dependingontheseverityofthefault,aSTOPicon
mayalsobedisplayed.
RecentfaultscanbeviewedandclearedviatheInfoCenterService–Fault
Viewerscreen.Acodeappearsaftereachfaultindicatingwhichcontroller
generatedthefault.Forexample:P0227:T1isatractionpedalfaultgenerated
bytheT1:TEC,andP1455:ENisaDPFpressuresensorfaultgeneratedbythe
