selectorcontrolvalvekitexpandstheloaderorfronthydrauliccapability,andthe
rearselectorcontrolvalvekitexpandstherearorauxiliaryhydrauliccapability.
Theportsonthemanifoldsaremarkedforeasyidenticationofcomponents
andconnections;refertothehydraulicschematicinAppendixA(pageA–1)to
identifythefunctionofthehydrauliclinesandcartridgevalvesateachport.
RemovingtheSelectorControlValveManifolds
ReadandadheretotheinformationprovidedinGeneralPrecautionsfor
RemovingandInstallingtheHydraulicSystemComponents(page5–49)priorto
removinghydraulicsystemcomponents.
1.Theloaderselectorcontrolvalvemanifoldsarelocatedontherightside
loaderarm.Therearselectorcontrolvalvemanifoldsarelocatedontheright
sideframerailbehindtheoperator’splatform.Removethebedtoaccessthe
rearselectorcontrolvalvemanifolds;refertoStandardBed(page8–21).
2.Topreventcontaminationofhydraulicsystemduringmanifoldremoval,
thoroughlycleanexteriorofmanifoldandttings.
3.Labelanddisconnectwireharnessconnectorsfromthesolenoidvalves.
4.Labelanddisconnectthehydrauliclinesfrommanifoldandputcapsorplugs
onopenhydrauliclinesandttingstopreventsystemcontamination.
5.Removethemanifoldfromthemachine.
6.Ifhydraulicttingsaretoberemovedfromthemanifold,markthetting
orientationtoallowforcorrectassembly.Removethettingsfromthe
manifoldanddiscardtheO−rings.
