(traction)pump.Pump(P1)suppliesthefronttractioncircuit,andpump(P2)
suppliesthereartractioncircuit.Ifacomponentinoneofthetractioncircuits
shouldfail,unwantedmaterialandcontaminationfromthedamagedcomponent
willcirculatethroughoutthattractioncircuit.Thiscontaminationcandamage
othercomponentsinthatcircuit.Thecontaminationmustberemovedassoon
aspossibletopreventadditionalcomponentfailure.
Filteringofaclosed-loophydraulicsystemafteramajorcomponentfailure
(e.g.traction(piston)pumpordrivemotor)isrequiredtopreventdebrisfrom
transmittingthroughoutthesystem.Ifalteringtoolisnotused(toensure
systemcleanliness),repeatfailuresandsubsequentdamagetootherhydraulic
componentsinthesystemwilloccur.Toeffectivelyremovecontaminationfrom
theclosed-looptractioncircuit,useofaTorobidirectionalhighowhydraulic
lterandhydraulichosekitisrecommended;refertoHighFlowHydraulicFilter
Kit(page2–17).
