Important:Temperaturesoutsideofthisrange
willdamageyourbatteries.
Thetemperaturethatthebatteriesarestored
atwillaffecttheirlong-termlife.Storagefor
longperiodsoftimeatextremetemperatures
willreducethebatterylife.Storethemachinein
thenormalstorageconditionsindicatedinthe
temperature-requirementstable.
Beforeyoustorethemachine,chargeordischarge
thebatteriesbetween40%to60%(50.7Vto
52.1V).
Note:A50%chargeisoptimaltoensurea
maximumbatterylife.Whenthebatteriesare
chargedto100%beforestorage,thebatterylife
shortens.
Ifyouanticipatethatthemachinewillbestored
foralongerperiodoftime,chargethebatteries
toaround60%.
Forevery6monthsofstorage,checkthe
battery-chargelevelandensurethatitisbetween
40%to60%.Ifthechargeisbelow40%,charge
thebatteriesbetween40%to60%.
Youcanuseamultimetertocheckthechargelevel
whenthemachineisoff.Refertothefollowing
tablefortheamountofvoltagethatisequaltothe
chargelevel:

Afterchargingthebatteries,disconnectthe
batterychargerfrompower.Disconnectthe
powerconnectorduringstoragetominimizethe
dischargingofthebatteries.
Ifyouleavethechargeronthemachine,itwill
shutoffafterthebatteriesarefullychargedand
doesnotturnbackonunlessthechargeris
disconnectedandreconnected.
