StoppingtheMachine
Important:Whenstoppingthemachineon
anincline,usetheservicebrakestostopthe
machineandengagetheparkingbraketoholdthe
machineinplace.Usingtheacceleratortostall
themachineonthehillcanoverheatthemotoror
drainthebatteries.
1.Removeyourfootfromtheacceleratorpedal.
2.Slowlypressthebrakepedaltoapplytheservice
brakesuntilthemachinecomestoacomplete
stop.
Note:Thestoppingdistancemayvary
dependingonthemachineloadandspeed.
LoadingtheCargoBed
Usethefollowingguidelineswhenloadingthecargo
bedandoperatingthemachine:
•Observetheweightcapacityofthemachineand
limittheweightoftheloadthatyoucarryinthe
cargobedasdescribedinSpecications(page
13)andonthegrossvehicleweighttagofthe
machine.
Note:Theloadratingisspeciedformachine
operationonalevelsurfaceonly.
•Reducetheweightoftheloadthatyoucarryinthe
cargobedwhenoperatingthemachineonhills
androughterrain.
•Reducetheweightoftheloadthatyoucarrywhen
thematerialsaretall(andhaveahighcenterof
gravity),suchasastackofbricks,landscaping
timbers,orfertilizerbags.Distributetheloadas
lowaspossibletoensurethattheloaddoesnot
reduceyourabilitytoseebehindthemachine
whenoperatingit.
•Keeploadscenteredbyloadingthecargobedas
follows:
–Evenlypositiontheweightinthecargobed
fromsidetoside.
Important:Tippingoverismorelikelyto
occurifthecargobedisloadedto1side.
–Evenlypositiontheweightinthecargobed
fromfronttoback.
Important:Lossofsteeringcontrolorthe
machinemaytipoverifyoupositionthe
loadbehindtherearaxleandthetraction
onthefronttiresisreduced.
•Useextracautionwhentransportingoversized
loadsinthecargobed,particularlywhenyou
cannotcentertheweightoftheoversizeloadto
thecargobed.
