cargoandpositionthesafetysupportonthefully
extendedcylinderrod.
OperatingtheCargoBox
RaisingtheCargoBox
WARNING
Drivingthevehiclewiththecargoboxraisedmay
causethevehicletotiporrolleasier.Thebox
structuremaybecomedamagedifyouoperatethe
vehiclewiththeboxraised.
•Onlyoperatethevehiclewhenthecargoboxis
down.
•Afterdumpingaload,lowerthecargobox.
CAUTION
Ifaloadisconcentratednearthebackofthecargo
boxwhenyoureleasethelatches,thetailgatemay
unexpectedlytipopen,injuringyouorbystanders.
•Centertheloadinthecargobox,ifpossible.
•Ensurethatnooneisleaningovertheboxor
standingbehinditwhenreleasingthetailgate
latches.
•Removeallcargofromtheboxbeforeliftingthe
boxuptoservicethemachine.
1.Settheparkingbrake;refertoParkingBrake(page16).
2.Starttheengine;refertoStartingtheEngine(page27).
3.Movetheleverbackwardtoraisethecargoboxtothe
desiredposition.(Figure18).
