1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andremovethekey
fromthekeyswitch.
2.Cleantheareaaroundthelter-mountingarea.
3.Placeadrainpanunderthelterandremovethelter
(Figure75).

uids.
1.Cleantheareaaroundthehigh-ow-ltermounting
area(Figure75).
2.Placeadrainpanunderthelterandremovethelter.
Note:Iftheuidisnotgoingtobedrained,
disconnectandplugthehydrauliclinegoingtothe
lter.
3.Lubricatethenewlter-sealinggasketandhandturn
thelterontothelterheaduntilthegasketcontacts
thelterhead.Thentightenit3/4turnfurther.The
ltershouldnowbesealed.
4.Fillthehydraulicreservoirwithapproximately15L(4
USgallons)ofhydraulicuid.
5.Startthemachineandrunitatidleforabout2minutes
tocirculatetheuidandremoveanyairtrappedin
thesystem.
6.Stopthemachineandchecktheuidlevel.
7.Verifytheuidlevel.
8.Disposeoftheuidproperly.
