Theleakdetectorsystemisdesignedtoassistinearly
detectionofhydraulic-uid-systemleaks.Iftheuid
levelinthemainhydraulicreservoirisloweredby118
to177ml(4to6oz),theoatswitchinthetank
willclose.Aftera1seconddelay,thealarmsounds,
alertingtheoperator(Figure15).Expansionofuid,
duetonormalheatingduringmachineoperation,
causestheuidtotransferintotheauxiliaryuid
reservoir.Theuidreturnstothemaintankwhenyou
turnofftheignitionswitch.
