Testthequalityofcutbycuttingatestswathbefore
usingthecuttingunittoensurethatthenishedcut
iscorrect.

Priortomowingeachday,orasrequired,verifyproper
bedknife-to-reelcontact.Performthisprocedure
eventhoughthequalityofcutisacceptable.
1.Lowerthecuttingunitsontoahardsurface,shut
offtheengine,andremovetheignitionkey.
2.Slowlyrotatethereelinareversedirection,
listeningforreel-to-bedknifecontact.
•Ifnocontactisevident,adjustthebedknife
asfollows:
A.Turnthebedbaradjustingscrews
clockwise(Figure9),1clickatatime,
untilyoufeelandhearlightcontact.
