1.Removethefronttractiongearbox;refertoRemovingtheFrontTraction
GearBox(page6–11).
2.Loosenthehexnutsandadjusttheeyeboltasfaraspossibletorelaxthe
extensionspring.Removethespring.
3.Usethe3/8inchsquaredriveholeintherightsideupperbrakearm(item
8)tofullyretractthebrakeactuator.
4.Removethesupportlink(item1).
5.Removethebrakereturnspring.
6.Removethecotterpinandtheclevispinfromtheclevistodisconnectthe
brakelinkagefromthebrakelever.Discardthecotterpin.
7.Removetheshoulderbolt(item8)securingthebrakelevertothewheel
motorhousing.
8.Removethebrakeleverandshaftfromthewheelmotorhousing.
9.Slidethebrakerotorandbrakecaliperassemblyfromthemotorhousing.
10.Cleanandinspectthepartsforwearordamage.
Theminimumbrakepadthicknessis2.8mm(0.110inch).
