CuttingUnitMotor
Ifacuttingunitmotorisreplacedforanyreason,themachinesoftwaremustbe
updated;contactanAuthorizedT oroDistributorforassistance.
RemovingtheCuttingUnitMotor
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits,setthekey
switchtotheOFFpositionandremovekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Unplugthe48Vbatterydisconnect;referto48VBatteryDisconnect(page
5–9).
IMPORTANT
Whenremovingthecuttingunitmotor,takecaretonotdamagethe
cable.Thecableisnotavailableasareplacementpart.
3.Removethecuttingunitmotorfromthecuttingunit;refertothetractionunit
OperatorsManual.
4.RemoveanddiscardtheO-ringfromthecuttingunitmotorange.
5.Inspectthecuttingunitthreadedinsertsplinesforwear.Replacetheinsertsif
necessary;refertoReelAssembly(page7–14).
6.Locatethecuttingunitmotorcableconnectionsatthemachinewireharness
forthemotorthatistoberemoved,anddisconnectthe2connectors.Check
themotorandtheharnessconnectorfordamageorcorrosionandcleanor
repairasnecessary.
7.Locateandloosenthebulkheadnuts(2permotorcable)thatsecuresthe
cuttingunitmotorcabletothebulkheadbracketsonthemachine.
8.Loosenthemotorcablebulkheadnutsandremovethecablebulkheadsfrom
thebulkheadbrackets(2permotorcable).
9.Removethecuttingunitmotorandcablefromthemachine.
