•If48Vsystemvoltageispresent,theT1:primarycontrollerhasenergized
thelogicrelayandpowerisbeingsuppliedtotheprechargecontroller
prechargeinput(connectorP02pin6).
•If–––appears,thecontrollerisnotcommunicatingontheCANbus.
Voltagemustbepresentatthecontrollerlogiccircuit(connectorP03pin6)
beforecommunicationcanoccurontheCANbus.
Ifvoltageisnotpresentatthelogiccircuit,thelogiccircuitfuseor
logiccircuitwiringisdamaged.Thefuseandcircuitwiringshouldbe
checkedforcorrosionordamageandcleaned,repaired,orreplacedas
necessary.
Iflogicvoltageispresentatthecontroller,andCANbuscommunication
issuspect,theCANbuscircuitisdamaged.TheCANbuswiring
shouldbecheckedforcorrosionordamageandcleanedorrepaired
asnecessary.TheprechargecontrollerCANbustransceivercanalso
betestedifnecessary;refertoTestingDevices(Nodes)ontheCAN
bus(page5–32).
•If00.0Vispresent,thelogicrelayorlogiccircuitwiringisdamaged.The
relayandcircuitwiringshouldbecheckedforcorrosionordamageand
cleaned,repaired,orreplacedasnecessary.

•If48Vsystemvoltageispresent,themaincontactorhasclosedand
48Vbusvoltageispresentattheprechargecontrollerprechargeoutput
(connectorP02pin3).T oachievethis,theT1:primarycontrollerhas
commandedtheT6:prechargecontrollerviaaCANmessagetoprovidea
pathtoground(prechargecontrollerOUT2)forthe48VDCmaincontactor
coiltoenergizeandclosethemaincontactor.Prechargewassuccessful.
•If00.0Vispresent,themaincontactororcircuitwiring(includingthe
prechargecontrollerOUT2circuit)isdamaged.Thecontactorandcircuit
wiringshouldbecheckedforcorrosionordamageandcleaned,repaired,
orreplacedasnecessary.
