rotorshaft.

rotorremovaltopreventcomponentdamageorpersonalinjury.
D.Turntherotortoolshafttopushtherotorandcoverassemblyfromthe
housing/statorassembly.Supporttherotortopreventitfromfalling
duringremoval.
E.Removethecoverfromtherotorassembly.RemovetheO-ringsandthe
wavewasherfromthecover.DiscardtheO-rings.
F.RemoveanddiscardtheO-ringandlipsealfromthebearingborein
thehousing.
G.Ifnecessary,removeanddiscardthebearingsfromtherotor.
H.Ifnecessary,removetheisolatorandgasketfromthehousing/stator
assembly.Discardthegasket.
11.Inspectthestarter/generatorcomponentsforwearordamage.Replace
componentsorcompletestarter/generatorassemblyifnecessary.
