1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Removethedipstickandwipeitwithacleanrag
(Figure28).
Important:Removethedipstickwhilelling
theenginewithoil.Whenaddingengine
oilorllingoil,theremustbeclearance
betweentheoillldeviceandtheoilll
holeinthevalvecoverasshowninFigure
27.Thisclearanceisnecessarytopermit
ventingwhenlling,whichpreventstheoil
fromoverrunningintothebreather.
